The Dress

This Oscar de la Renta gown is from their Spring 2021 Bridal Collection. It is a stunning semi-strapless ballgown with a layered tulle skirt and corseted bodice with 3D floral details. This could easily be made into a full strapless dress if you preferred it without the floral straps. I tried on hundreds of dresses and this was by far the most comfortable as it weighs barely anything and the tulle is soft and not at all stiff or scratchy but still gives a sharp/tailored appearance. This style of dress is something you will never regret later on in life as it is still a classic style with a slight twist with the layering and flower details.

I am so sad to part with my dress but I would really love for someone else to have the chance to wear it on their big day and make them feel as special as it made me feel.

Alterations

You will see in the photos the original gown was styled as a halter neck which I changed to go over one shoulder- they altered this so that it could be changed back to a halter if that is your preference. I also had the lining made so that it goes to just above the ankle- it was originally around knee height. This is also something that could easily be altered if needed.
