The Dress

Absolutely stunning Suzanne Neville wedding dress with the elegant and modern ‘Amber’ design. The dress was made bespoke as I wanted to tweak a few elements such as switch the belt for sheen silk and to maximise the hourglass silhouette.

The dress is timeless and I found it to be the perfect balance of traditional and modern. The dress is so well structured you feel ‘held-in’ without feeling restricted.

It has been professionally dry cleaned by a premium dress service (Terrington Burchett), as recommended by Suzanne Neville, so restored to as best condition as can be.

Details:

Bodice: Corset bodice with stitched panel detailing. No bra required which was amazing and felt so secure. Hidden corset inside the dress means that tightness is adjustable.

Skirt: Subtle fishtail shape. Following dry cleaning, there remain some small flecks by the hemline of the train and some faint darkening at elbow on the back of the dress. These are not noticeable when dress is on, and if you wish to alter the dress, the majority of hemline flecks / darkened fabric could be trimmed off. The train is fairly generous in length so a trim would be very possible. Happy to provide pictures upon request.

Fabric: Italian matte stretch crepe.


Detailing and Finish: Wide silk waist belt, keyhole back, buttons down the back and small shoulder pleats. Full length sleeves.

I love this dress so much and will be really sad to part with it. But it’s just stored in my house and I want another bride to wear it so she can feel as special as I did!

Notes:
- I wore 4 inch heels on the wedding day so length of dress is reflective of this. I am 160cm / 5ft 4in without heels. Dress would fit up to 5ft 8in if you are not planning to wear heels.
- Has been stored in acid free paper, in a smoke free, pet free home.
- Veil not included in price. If you’re interested in the veil, feel free to enquire. I may be willing to include at a small additional cost.
