The Dress

This dress was worn for the ceremony and some pictures. It has about 12 layers of silk and tuel with hand embroidered flowers on the second layer that really show the craftsmanship that went into this piece. It is extremely comfortable to wear, I do suggest spanx as your undergarments as it is fitted through the body . The floral piece on the waste was added by me at a cost of $300 - handmade piece by a small designer in Canada. The flow of the material has an ethereal look and photographs beautifully. If you’re doing a rustic chic wedding or want to have a very soft and pretty look on your day, this is the dress for you! (I am 5’6” and wore 5.5” heels and this was still on the floor in the front, so there is tons of room to be shortened.)

The very inside 1/2 layers have 1 or two small stiletto heel holes and very few marks from the garden, but nothing that is even noticeable without up-close inspection.
If you’re making it shorter, they will be hemmed off. If not, they truly are difficult to see without going up the dress and looking closely at each layer.
