The Dress

This dress was perfect for my small town hall wedding in January: modern and super comfortable. The skirt has a beautiful movement to it which is difficult to capture in photographs and the floral embroidery feels elegant and interesting – not chintzy or girly. The dress comes with a white ribbon which can be used to loop through the cutouts at the back to create a bow, which I opted to do. But as you can see in the pictures of the dress on the Whistles website (or in-store) the dress looks beautiful without the ribbon as well.

I ordered the dress brand new so I am the only person to ever have worn it, and even then it was worn only for a relaxed ceremony and lunch afterwards (no dancing). I had the dress steamed before the wedding and then dry-cleaned after, so it really is in perfect condition. The dress will come in the original box with hanger and garment bag/protector.

This would be perfect for a small elopement or for the legal ceremony before a big destination wedding celebration.
