The Dress

This Dolce Satin fit-and-flare wedding dress from the Stella York collection features a sexy sweetheart neckline and a Diamante-encrusted Dolce Satin belt. The back zips up under alternating crystal and fabric-covered buttons that carry-through to the floor.

I didn't end up using the original satin belt but it will be included with your purchase. (I will also include the peach tulle belt I had made for the dress.)

Overall the dress was beautiful, elegant and classic, with a hint of drama - exactly how I wanted to feel. The dress wasn't heavy but it does have a couple of layers of tulle which makes it a bit more of a production to move around in. That being said, I felt completely comfortable in it and had no problem dancing! :)

Alterations: I had the train removed, the overall dress hemmed and cups put into the bust (size 36B). Even though the train was removed, the tailor still left the dress a little longer in the back so it fell to the floor properly.

Flaws: Over the course of the evening, three or four of the buttons fell off the back of the dress near the floor.

I have saved all of the fabric from the alterations (which I will provide) so there are identical buttons that can be used to replace the missing buttons.
