The Dress
Parvia top and Delfina skirt by Lola Varma.
Both the skirt and top are size 8 and measure to a true 8 (skirt has been altered slightly). Skirt is a standard length.
Both made of silk crepe de chine.
The skirt is high waisted and top can be worn tucked in or untucked (both look fabulous, I wore the top tucked in).
The skirt has a beautiful elongated train.
The top has an interior bodice and therefore you don’t need to wear a bra. The shoulder of the top has elastic so is extremely comfortable and would fit all body types.
The skirt retails for $3290.
The top retails for $1140.
Skirt has been altered slightly, I had it taken up so was sitting just below floor length (I am about 165cm tall). I also had the skirt taken out 1 inch to fit more comfortably around my waist.
My dressmaker commented on how easy the skirt was to alter and how much room was left to alter again either way (in or out).
